The end is near

I stopped by Murphy Rod & Custom this evening to see how Kelly was doing. While I was there, Terry, owner of the El Camino you see here, stopped by. He had come by to help Kelly with a project but while he was there he snapped a few pictures of his car. I just happened to be in one of them and he was kind enough to share the photo with me for the site.

That El Camino has come along way since Terry and I loaded that pitiful thing on a trailer back in August of 2011. From the looks of it, I would say it is very nearly ready to move from Kelly’s shop to mine.

I’m looking forward to getting started on it.

  1. It looks good doesn’t it?!? Kelly (Murphy) does excellent work.

I am also looking forward to you starting work on the car. I am tired of seeing the car in media-blast gray and I am ready to see the car in ANY other color … even if it is only primer gray.

  2. Yes Terry, its coming along nicely!! Primer grey is not a bad color after looking at bare metal for a long time. Be patient, it will all come together!!
