You may remember that this car will be transformed into an Adam 12 replica police car. Today we flipped the doors over and painted the top sides of them. Later this week we hope to get them buffed out. The first picture shows the door sanded and ready to be taped up for paint. The second and third picture shows Chase applying the sealer for the doors. This product ensures we have good adhesion. Next we have the color going on. The last few pictures show the top sides of the doors after spraying the color or base coat color then finally the clear coat. The clear is the product that gives the base coat the protection it needs and the gloss and shine.
