More color please

Yesterday we painted the inside of the Camaro doors and trunk, today we shot the outside. We taped up the bottom of the trunk and the jambs on the door and flipped them over. We then prepped the outside of these parts and Chase laid down a very nice paint job on the outside of these parts. Next week we will start buffing them and setting up another set of parts to run through the booth. This Camaro is starting to look like something now!

Battle scars

This Mercedes has some minor battle scars that aggravated the owner just enough to get them fixed. There are quite a few little places that dont show up too well on camera but are definitely there. The primer spots show where they were and how many of them exist. We started by removing the bumper just like we do with almost all of our bumper fixes. We then smoothed up the scratches and filled the ones that needed a touch of filler, then primed it. After the primer was dry, we sanded it all down and washed it. We slid it into the booth this afternoon and Chase painted it. Tomorrow, We will put it all back together and if the rain holds out, we will have it washed for the customer.
