Cadi make-over

This Cadillac is in the shop to get makeover. We will be repairing an old repair in the hood that happened years ago and fixing some peeling paint issues on the hood and fender. An all over re-paint and new chrome inserts in the body side moldings will round out the make over. Quite a bit was accomplished today on this one. The entire car was sanded and the damaged body panels  were repaired. Tomorrow we hope to get the repair areas in primer early and finish sanding and washing it thoroughly in the afternoon so we can spray it next week. The dark blue on this car looked great when it was new. When we are done, it will look just as good as it did then.

Avalon’s getting some booth time

We were able to get the Avalon in the booth today and did get it painted. It turned out really nice. The parts came in right on time this morning so we trimmed the fender out first thing and put it on the car as soon as it was dry enough. Once that was done, it was put into the booth and prepped for paint. Right after lunch Paul started pulling the trigger on this 3 stage pearl white paint job an he finished up late this afternoon. Tomorrow we will re-assemble the car and if that goes smoothly Its possible this one goes back home tomorrow. Wish us luck.
